Residential Waterproofing
A specialty trade that makes you look good.
You design and build homes people fall in love with. The waterproofing underneath is what keeps that love intact. NTX is the partner who takes that entire worry off your list — with the training and equipment to apply the gold standard on luxury residential work.
You can’t do anything about fire.
You can control the water.
Nothing kills houses faster than water and fire. One of them you can’t touch. The other one is a contractor problem — and the right contractor makes it a solved one.
Why builders spec us
One phone call. The waterproofing is handled.
A waterproofing failure surfaces years later, usually as a callback you never wanted. We exist to make sure that phone call never happens — by doing the work so it doesn’t come back.
We bring the material most crews won’t touch, the licensure and equipment to apply it, and the discipline to do it to spec. On DFW’s luxury residential and commercial projects, that’s a differentiator you get credit for.
Showers & wet areas
The tile is the top coat — the membrane behind it is the reason there's no callback in year seven.
Elevated decks & balconies
Decks move. A 500% elongation membrane moves with them instead of cracking.
Below grade & foundations
The one chance you get to do it right, done right — with drainage relief.
WRB replacement
Where substandard weather-resistive barriers are specified, we put the membrane that should have been there.
Building envelope & glazing
Window-to-plywood joints, curtain wall transitions, and glazing systems bonded monolithically.
How we work
Built to fit your schedule, not fight it.
01
Spec & coordinate
We work from your drawings, sequence with your schedule, and confirm the right system for each assembly — showers, decks, below grade, WRB replacement.
02
Prepare & protect
Surface prep is where systems live or die. We handle it ourselves, to spec, with the existing work on your site protected.
03
Apply
One seamless membrane, applied by a crew that does this daily. QA is checked in the field, not assumed.
04
Close out
Fast cure means your schedule moves. Documentation and manufacturer requirements handled, so your warranty story is clean.
Rapid cure means many surfaces are back in service within a day — waterproofing rarely sits on your critical path. We coordinate around the finishes and trades ahead of and behind us, so your site keeps moving.
Five answers,
and we can spec it.
Not a binder. Not a full submittal. Just the answers the drawings usually give us — and the few they don’t.
01
Plans & spec sections
The assemblies you want covered and the drawings they live on. We confirm the right system per assembly before we quote.
02
Schedule windows
Where waterproofing falls in your sequence. Rapid cure means we rarely sit on the critical path — but we plan as if we do.
03
Assembly context
Substrate, exposure, stage of build. The details that separate one number from another, and surprises from quotes.
04
Access & site conditions
Lift or scaffolding, occupied space, power and water. We protect everything you’ve already built on our way in.
05
A point of contact
One name on your team we can ask field questions to — and you get one name on ours. No chasing.

Field specimen
Monolithic, seamless, up to 500% elongation. No sacrificial layer to maintain.
For the design team
The number you want in the spec.
When your project calls for the best — showers, elevated decks, any assembly where a standard WRB isn’t good enough — specify polyurea and put NTX in the bid. We’ll work with your engineer or architect on the right system and detail every transition before we ever show up on site.
We believe in the material, we believe in the process, and we believe in the principles. The drawings get what the drawings deserve.
“It isn’t the cheap answer. It isn’t even the common one. It’s the best one — and your client’s home deserves it.”
