Industrial & Oil and Gas

Oil-field-grade polyurea.
Industrial-scale application.

Polyurea was developed for the oil fields. NTX applies the same material — the same industrial-strength, monolithic membrane — to secondary containment, tank liners, heavy industrial surfaces, and anywhere the stakes are too high for a coating that fails.

Where the material comes from

Built for the oil fields.
We bring it everywhere else.

Spray polyurea was developed at Texaco in the late 1980s for industrial applications where no other coating held up. Secondary containment. Pipeline infrastructure. Surfaces that get hot, get cold, get saturated, and can’t be taken offline every five years for recoating.

That’s the material we apply. Not a residential-grade product borrowed from the hardware store — the original industrial-strength formulation, applied by a crew that trained on it specifically.

Most contractors won’t touch spray polyurea because the equipment and training requirements are significant. We invested in both — which is why we’re one of the few crews in the region who can apply it at industrial scale.

Polyurea secondary containment coating in an industrial facility

Secondary containment — monolithic liner

No seams. No joints. No failure points.

Industrial applications

Every surface that can’t afford
to fail.

Secondary containment

A single monolithic liner with no seams to fail. Polyurea handles chemical exposure and thermal cycling that destroys every other coating system. Regulatory compliance built-in.

Tank liners & berm linings

Applied directly to the substrate — steel, concrete, or earthen berms. One skin, no joints, rapid cure. The berm holds what it’s supposed to hold.

Loading docks & floors

Forklift traffic, chemical spills, and temperature swings. Polyurea's 500% elongation and surface hardness outlast everything else on a working industrial floor.

Industrial roofing

Large-surface application with no hot work. Rapid cure keeps your operation running. One pass — no laps, no seams, no flashings to fail.

Pipeline terminations & penetrations

The joints where pipes meet structures are where everything fails eventually. We seal them monolithically so the seal outlasts the pipe.

Heavy-use floor coatings

Manufacturing floors, warehouse slabs, processing areas. Impervious, seamless, and back in service fast — because every day of downtime is a business problem.

Why polyurea outperforms everything else

The physics don’t lie.

500% elongation

Industrial surfaces expand and contract with temperature. A coating that can't move cracks. Polyurea moves with the substrate — up to 500% elongation — so the seal holds through every thermal cycle.

Rapid cure

Most surfaces are back in service within hours, not days. For facilities that can't afford extended downtime, rapid cure isn't a feature — it's a requirement.

Monolithic membrane

No seams. No overlaps. No joints. A single continuous skin from edge to edge means there are no failure points for water, chemicals, or pressure to exploit.

Temperature inert

Polyurea doesn't soften in Texas summers or embrittle in cold winters. Other coating systems degrade at temperature extremes. Polyurea doesn't.

Scale & travel

We go where
the project is.

Industrial and O&G work doesn’t stay in one market. Refineries, processing facilities, and pipeline infrastructure are wherever they are. NTX travels anywhere the project demands — DFW, Texas, or nationwide.

We bring the equipment, the material, and the crew. Surface prep, application, QA, and documentation — the full installation scope, wherever the surface is.

The material is industrial-grade. The crew applies it that way.

Tell us the surface, the exposure conditions, and the timeline. We’ll specify the right system and get you a number.
